Player Retention-The Key to Success

Player retention strategies were a hot topic at this year’s internet bingo summit held in London. Several experts hosted a panel discussion devoted to player retention strategies. For years internet bingo operators focused on player acquisition and neglected player retention strategies. Since bingo sites are competing for a limited pool of players they have realized just how important it is to retain players once they have signed up. Typical player acquisition strategies have included generous deposit bonuses; free no deposit bingo and a selection of special  bingo bonuses and promotions.

Since there are over 400 internet bingo sites targeting the UK bingo market it is essential that bingo operators retain current players once they have signed up. Today player retention is every bit as important as player acquisition. Gaming industry reports indicate that internet bingo has the highest player retention rate in the online gaming industry.
